GeoGIS Database

The development of the GeoGIS Database is the manifestation of Geometria's 30 years of experience in the field of geospatial data and technical asset management. The data model is based on the international CIM (Common Information Model) object-oriented information standard. The open data structure of the database allows the public network inventory data to be treated as master data. In this system architecture, all modules supporting different business processes and services have access to the network registry in compliance with the necessary IT security requirements. The GeoGIS Data Model supports lifecycle tracking of all technical assets and is scope-managed, i.e. the network can be restored to any past state.

A GeoGIS adatkapu modulja segítségével külső forrásokból (például tervezői CAD állományok) is egyszerűen lehet importálni állományokat, jelentősen csökkentve a hálózat-nyilvántartás változásvezetési folyamata átfutási idejét.

GeoGIS Map Portal

"Information finds the user."

GeoGIS Map Portal module ensures full, fast, and user-friendly access to relevant information for all stakeholders of the company, as well as the use of decision support functions based on this information. The Portal is highly configurable with available features ranging from simple map-based data visualization to supporting complex technical processes (downtime calculation, investment support, short and long-term operational planning, etc.). The Map Portal can also display data from related non-GIS systems (works, demands, defects, customer data, etc.), helping to explore relationships between different pieces of information. The module is web and browser-based thus ensuring location-independent access to information.

GeoGIS Mobile

GeoGIS Mobile application guarantees that professionals working in the field always have full access to the latest geospatial data and services. The system does not require a continuous network connection. Its local database is optimized for small storage space and automatically gets synchronized with the center once it gets connected to the network which enables its usage in any working conditions and location. Field data input is crucial to ensure that real changes are fed into the GIS system as quickly and directly as possible, therefore GeoGIS Mobile offers the user convenient and easy editing functions. The interface is optimized for mobile touch screens with Google and specialized map support.

GeoGIS AR - The GIS of the future

"Data on reality."

The latest member of the GeoGIS family transfers augmented reality technology to the world of geospatial information. GeoGIS AR allows us to see registered technical objects in their real environment, whether it's about cables running underground or objects that are difficult to see. The use of AR reduces the time of data interpretation in the field and provides information about network objects to any employee of the company even without training. GeoGIS AR can currently be used on a tablet or smartphone, but a solution based on smart glasses is also under development.

System Integration

GeoGIS can be integrated into the company's environment in a proven way, either as an entire ecosystem or as modules. It can be connected with commonly used systems, such as SAP ERP modules, SCADA systems, asset management systems, or operations management systems via existing web services SOAP and REST data connections. GeoGIS also works with middleware such as SAP PO or IBM MQ.

Modularity

GeoGIS modules can be used together or independently based on your company’s needs. The applications (GeoGIS, GeoGIS Map Portal, GeoGIS Mobile) can even operate on the basis of an external database under the right conditions, while the open data structure of the GeoGIS Database allows external systems to manage its data.

E-Utility

The GeoGIS E-Utility module automatically converts the required data and graphics into a format required by Lechner Science Centre (Lechner Tudásközpont) and publishes them to the authorities via its GeoServer-based module, either manually or via scheduled updates.
